Yoyogames, will be ever be good again?

I know a lot of you have left Yoyogames, and for good reason. I would like to take this chance to inform you that it is on its way back.

Yoyogames made a pitfull when GMC became an attack site shortly. Members from the GMC crossed over to Yoyogames, and started to spam. Also, this spam influenced alot of so called "noobs" to start posting stupid questions, without looking in the help file, or without using the tutorials. We hit a real low when people starting asking for the most basic Tutorials to be made, when they have perfectly good Official Tutorials just waiting!

Now, fast foward to now! I have noticed that people like overbound have left, mrsmes is only posting in Suggestions, and occansionally Help and General. It is on its way back to what it once was!

Sadly, people still don't look in the help file, or don't search for topics about the same thing. So the questions are usually still the same old same old. But soon it may be good enough for a few of you people to come back!

(Still a bit away yet though)

Ha ha I never left. But I think that if everyone went back then we could try real hard to clean it up.
I think it would make a difference.

It would be great if we could become the new YYG forum, but the main YYG site, I dunno.

Don't forget that not all games go straight in on this site, they have to pass the test!

I've actually been trying to help yoyo out, but with the recent "noob" run of members from the so called GMS, its dieing once again.

I saw about 4 topics about the GMS, and now this guy named Fred Watson posts the damned link anywhere he gets a chance.

I haven't thought about the games for this site in ages, so I'm not going to rush you.

As for Yoyo Games, I think I joined just before GMC became bad, and then I went on a 2 week vacation (to Costa Rica) soon after, so I missed that part. I read through the forums almost daily to see if there is anything interesting, but there usually is only one or two things that are worth my time. As a few people said, there are way too many noobs posting noobish questions in the wrong section, over asked questions, and Mrsmes's dreaded "wall of text" that lacks any structure or sense.

However, the annoying people are leaving or posting less (I never had to see SatanChild, I think he was a spammer) and people seem to be nicer overall. Though the main reason I don't feel like posting is because I never have been a fan of joining forums with a lot of members already. I feel like it takes away the significance of being a new member.

Anyways, Yoyo is still on a low. Hopefully someday it will rise again but I'm perfectly happy with our CG forums. (Soon to be CGF++)

I am thinking CGF++ will be done, let's say, middle of March? That's the time when we can move in to CGF++, and also the time when we will be getting MANY more members.

Ha, my brother's birthday is March 14. Coincidence? Probably.
However, after the initial wave of new members when we switch to CGF++, I'm not sure things might work. I mean, you come onto a site, and it tells you to download some program to join the main forums? Might be a little odd.
Just a thought, someone should sabotage the yoyo forums right before CGF++ is completed so a lot of people will join.

But that's why I have a REFERENCES section on the website. Quotes taken directly from people. I am about to redo the navbar on the site, because some people can't use those litte tabs.
