http://www.cplusplus.com/
And a tip: Please stop with the "any1" and the "2" stuff. It really annoying.

Um...no offense, but those two words don't exactly go together...
Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
You are trying to write an OS in C++?
GOOD LUCK

Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
thanks, I just need some basic C++ 2 get started and get it off the ground to make A++ and use that 2 write my system, I will teach those who request lessons on it.

YES! I'll hold you to that.

Mr. Smes.
I hate to break it to you but you can't program an OS with C++.
Also, someone care to explain what A++ is?

He wants to use C++ to create his own language, which we will then call A++ and use it to write his OS.Also, someone care to explain what A++ is?
Smes, it doesn't make sense to you that if you use C++ to write your own language, that A++ will be just as limited, if not more so?
Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
A++ already exists... It is the continuation of A, and A#
Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
Well, try making your own name. Something original, like:
SMEBasic
SMEBasic
Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
You are using C++ To make your OWN language?
This is SO twisted. You will have to explain a bit

Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
No, No, I meant A++, to write down commands to read impulses, if a human can study them then a machine should be able to read them and of course a way to convert them 2 c++, so the functions that get obeyed are first converted to binary before going 2 C++ and allowing the machine to obey the commands.

I do not know if a conversion like that is possible, but if there is, or if you invent it, I am sure it would be pretty slow.
Best of luck, Mr. Smes

Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
Are you planning on making A++ a script or compilable language? If the latter, compiling it could take a bit, then should run at the same speed as C++, if A++ is a script, it will be limited and slow... Also, a program would have to be running to interpret it. I recommend using ASM instead
Re: Any1 know C, or C++, I'm a beginner who plans 2 write a OS
Good luck. I am stomped at making OS.
