Problem with 39dll
Hey, here's the problem:
39dll freezes everytime it runs receivemessage(). It works fine if there is a message coming from the Server, but when there is no message it just freeze's the game. Im not going to make the server send a single byte to every connected client just to solve this, i need to know why it is freezing. And how to fix it.

I actually solved this in about 2 minutes after posting the question, but i thought i'll see what answer's i get anyway

Yeah... lol...

I do find it easy, i just couldn't figure why it froze when it didn't recieve... Then i actually read what blocking meant and i figured it out lol

I'm guessing that it runs a loop until a byte is recieived, or the program is terminated. That's the only thing I can think of. The looping could be an advantage, because if the timing is a bit off, the loop will keep trying to receive information so that this isn't a problem.

No, but a good guess. That was what i was looking for. What actually was happening was i had Blocking set to 0, which (i didn't realize this at the time) waits until a message is received. All i had to do is change it to 1 which receives normally, but doesn't freeze the game.

Oh. I saw that you said that you set the blocking on, but I didn't really know how that would affect receiving information.

We always have to forward our ports and have the redundant 39dll junk with ... If this problem was fixed, all of these games would be like brand new and ..
